Create webhooks and API keys

WebinarRun webhooks post events from WhatsApp, webinars, voice AI and AI chat to your own URL. API keys let your systems call WebinarRun. Use them to connect a CRM or Zapier.

Updated

Before you start

  • Growth or Scale plan
  • Permission to manage webhooks or API keys
  1. Add a webhook

Open Settings and the Webhooks tab. Click Add Webhook and enter a Name and the Endpoint URL that should receive events.

  2. Choose events and a secret

Tick the Events you want to receive. Add a Signing secret so you can verify each payload; payloads are signed with HMAC-SHA256 in the X-Webhook-Signature header. Save.

  3. Send a test

Click the play button on the webhook row to send a test event and check your endpoint received it.

  4. Create an API key

Open User Management and scroll to API Keys. Click Create key, give it a Name and an optional expiry date, then click Create.

  5. Store the key safely

Click Copy and store the key in a safe place. This is the only time the full key is shown. Click Done.

Good to know

  • There is no native HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce or Zapier app. Connect them through webhooks and the API.
  • Revoke a key you no longer use; the table shows when each key was last used.
